『古今伝授の里フィールドミュージアム』は、国名勝『東氏館跡庭園』の発見と保存整備を機に、1993年にオープンした野外博物館です。東西約2㎞にわたるエリア内には史跡が点在し、中心部には東氏記念館、和歌文学館、レストランや交流施設などが充実。建物は周りに溶け込み、館内からの景観も感動のひとことです。人工的な空間に居ながらにして、篠脇山をはじめとする自然との一体感を感じさせます。また、レストラン「ももちどり」、短歌の里交流館「よぶこどり」、「いなおほせどり」の名は、『古今伝授』の秘説「三木三鳥」の三鳥が由来です。日本の原風景が広がるこの空間で、時代を超えても変わらぬ日本人の心に触れてください。
Kokin Denju Field Museum is an indoor/outdoor museum that opened in 1993 as a result of the discovery, maintenance, and preservation of the National Scenic Landmark Tō Clan Manor Ruins and Garden. An area spanning about 2 km from east to west is scattered with the Tōshi Memorial Museum; the Waka Museum of Literature; a restaurant; and a cultural exchange center in the middle. The buildings blend in with their natural surroundings and, even from indoors, the scenery is impressive. It creates a feeling of unity with Mt. Shinowaki, despite being in a man-made space. Also, the names of the restaurant Momochidori the Tanka Village Cultural Exchange Yobukodori and the teahouse Inaohosedori were taken from the three birds of the Sanboku Sanchō of the Kokin Denju esoteric poetic commentary.
